Obrenovac, 25. July 2014. - Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport and Minister in charge of European integration Jadranka Joksimovic signed in Obrenovac the EUR30 million agreement of recovery aid, aimed to reconstruct schools, kindergartens, roads and houses in 24 flooded municipalities.

Director of the Government Office for Reconstruction and Flood Relief, Marko Blagojevic, presented today at the press conference held in the Government of Serbia the Report on Needs Assessment for Remediation and Reconstruction of Flood Affected Areas. According to the first official data, 1.345 billion EUR will be needed for remediation and reconstruction of the country after the disastrous floods that hit Serbia in May.

Belgrade 26th November 2014 - Reconstruction of 11.5 kilometres of road between Krupanj and Korenita, damaged during the May 2014 floods, will be funded with 4.5 million euros, a grant allocated by the European Union through EU Assistance for Flood Relief in Serbia Programme.

Belgrade, November 21, 2014 - The new project funded by the Romanian government, which will be implemented by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), will support the rehabilitation of municipal sewage and water supply systems, cleaning of individual wells and other facilities important for the safe and secure water supply in municipalities of Kladovo, Majdanpek and Negotin. These municipalities are still recovering from the damages caused to communal systems and individual wells during this year's devastating floods.

Following the keys handover for 17 houses in Krupanj last week, dedicated to families that have lost their homes to the unprecedented floods in May, Mr. Tomislav Nikolic, the President of the Republic of Serbia and Serbian Prime Minister Vucic opened the doors to another 14 new homes today, for flood affected families in Obrenovac.
